What will the procedure be like?
Your provider will clean your skin and apply a topical numbing cream. SkinPen has been approved by the FDA to use micro-fine needles to puncture the treatment area and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in your skin. A serum will be applied to give your skin the nutrients it craves and promote faster healing.
How do I care for my skin afterward?
After your procedure, you’ll experience a mild sunburn sensation with minor redness, tenderness, and swelling. In the following days, you’ll apply a calming cream to the area. Any redness or discomfort should diminish within a few days.
Who is SkinPen for?
Any patient 18 years and older that wants to improve texture and quality of skin including but not limited to acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. All skin types and colors can be safely treated at any time of the year.
How many treatments will I need?
